This high-end most versatile programmable bi-directional laboratory power-supply series is based upon a high-performance FPGA controller unit with up to 16-bit resolution. It equally operates as DC source or as DC electronic load with a seamless transfer from source into load mode and vice versa. It features the superior flexible ”auto-ranging” output (source) and input (e-load) for a usage at either high voltage or high current as required within the nominal power rating. In load mode it is regenerative, i.e. the DC energy extracted from an EUT is converted into commercial AC supply 220-240V~ with a 95% efficiency and returned back into the grid (no excess dissipative heat as compared to conventional dissipative loads). This series is a perfect instrument for bi-directional device and component testing in modern in R&D environment, suitable for 19” integration and bench usage.
